ABOUT US

We are Gaya Simulations, a video game development company that has been in action since 2014 and focused on the flight simulation community. Our mission is to provide the highest quality scenery products available on the market and we do so with the latest tools and newest simulators - we currently support Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020), Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D v4/5 and Laminar Research’s X-Plane 11.

2014:
Kilimanjaro

Gaya got their start in 2014 as a video game developer focused on real world environment gaming, again with a special focus on flight simulation. Our first project concerned Kilimanjaro Airport in Tanzania and was put to market in 2015 through then-publishing partner Aerosoft.

2016:
Genoa

Our second project moved us over to Europe with the Italian city of Genoa. It too was released under Aerosoft and was regarded as a very high quality scenery for the time.

2016-18:
Commercial

Between 2016 and 2018 Gaya turned to commercial work outside of flight simulation, functioning as a 3D art studio creating high quality assets in the core of the gaming industry. We made a move back towards flight simulation in late 2018 when we partnered with Orbx to create all of the assets for their TrueEarth series - something which is still true to this day.

2018:
Public Partnerships

We also create full airports projects for our partners with many titles released for many brands like Orbx and Aerosoft - products that many will use daily! Additionally, we’ve provided thousands of custom made objects in amazing time-to-market for various products over the gaming and flight simulator industry.

2019:
Return to Public Projects

Around the same time, we kicked back into full flight sim mode for the first time since 2015 and quickly had a high quality rendition of Kos Ippokratis Airport ready to go. As a gift to our users for their patience in the long wait between drinks for Gaya sceneries, we gave the scenery out for free for one week, in which over 8000 people registered and received the scenery.

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH MICROSOFT INVOLVES DEVELOPING WORLD UPDATES

2020:
World Updates

Gaya Simulations acts as the exclusive partner to Microsoft in the creation of World Updates, with all objects, points of interest and several of the 'hand-crafted' airports being created by Gaya. This includes Japan (with Nagasaki, Kushiro and Hachijojima Airports), the United States (with Atlanta and Friday Harbour Airports), the United Kingdom and Ireland (with Liverpool, Lands End, Manchester-Barton and Barra Airfields) and the upcoming France/Benelux World Update.

TODAY:
Flourishing

Ever since, we’ve continued working in the flight sim community and have released five more airports, including ultra-realistic renditions of ‘mega-airport’ like Vienna and Berlin-Tegel. Besides being one of the top airport developers in the scene, we also established a new and an exciting relationship with Microsoft as mentioned before to create and design all of the assets and handcrafted airports for their simulators’ ‘World Updates’, which so far have included Japan, the USA and UK/Ireland and the soon to come France and BeNeLux updates.
